Naturform – bed system for side-sleepers

The Relax Naturform with a 90 mm sink-in depth and its flexible adjustment options is ideal for people who sleep on their side and persons of heavy build. The double lamella system is supported on elastic latex elements.

Sleep better due to individual settings

Equipped with 42 lamellas at the top and 42 lamellas at the bottom, it ensures relaxation and stability. The variable shoulder lowering device provides even more individual adjustment options. Turning the lamellas is therefore no longer necessary as, thanks to the symmetric design, they can be reversed as a whole.

Das Naturform Schlafsystem verfügt über eine variable Schulterabsenkung.

Shoulder-form-lowering

The variable 90 mm shoulder lowering device is the centrepiece of the Naturform from RELAX®. It is flexible over its entire width and, as it can be reversed, has double the life span (shoulder zone: green lamellas).

Different versions of the bed system Naturform

The Naturform sleep system supports ergonomically correct body alignment in every sleeping position, making it ideal for side sleepers. Thanks to its flexibility and deep sink-in depth of up to 90 mm, Relax Naturform is also suitable for people with more pronounced body shapes. With 42 slats on top and 42 slats on the bottom, it ensures restful sleep and stability. There is no longer any need to flip the slats, as the symmetrical design allows the entire unit to be flipped over (shoulder zone: green slats). This bed system fits into any existing bed with side support rails, though it is naturally best suited for our metal-free Relax solid wood beds.

The simple alternative: RELAX Naturflex

The RELAX Naturflex bed system provides you with personalized relaxation, as it yields at the shoulders and hips, supports the rest of the body, and in this way specifically relieves pressure on your back muscles. RELAX Naturflex is a bed system consisting of 42 hardwood slats (9 mm thick), including 17 hardwood slats in the shoulder and pelvic areas (5.5 mm thick), which are mounted on permanently elastic latex blocks.

This bed system fits into any existing bed with side support rails, though it is naturally best suited for our metal-free RELAX solid wood beds. The slatted frame is included with every Naturflex spring element. Depending on your individual physical needs, you can remove the lower hardwood slats in the shoulder and hip areas to reduce counterpressure. After the slats have deformed, especially in the pelvic and shoulder areas, they should be rotated 180°. This will restore perfect lying comfort.

Für Betten mit geringer Einsinktiefe kann das Lamellensystem Naturform mit einer Kompakthülle geliefert werden.

Compact cover – for beds with low sink-in depth

Our bed system Naturform can optionally be delivered with a compact cover. The lamellar system and the mattress can be packed in a cover, which is an advantage for beds with low sink-in depth and for modern beds.

Optional for a lower installation height

Instead of the standard slat base, the slat systems can also be supplied with a roll-up slat base. The roll-up slat base reduces the total height of the system from 16 to 12.5 cm. Note: Continuous support rails are required.

Sleep is our source of energy

We spend about a third of our lives in bed. Over ten years, that amounts to roughly 30,000 hours. Healthy sleep is therefore one of the most important prerequisites for a healthy life. The quality of our sleep determines our health, our well-being, and our performance.

Why is sleep so important?

During sleep, the body switches its functions to a rest mode. Body temperature drops by a few degrees, blood pressure and body rhythms slow down, heart rate decreases, breathing becomes calmer, and the muscles relax. Sleep is a regenerative phase without which humans and organisms would not be able to survive. During sleep, cells regenerate, energy reserves are replenished, the immune system is strengthened, and hormone balance is restored.
